Subject: Thank you!
Many thanks to the taper and for the post; incredible show, sound, and lineup. Crisp, fun and just a solid groove to listen to.

Subject: Nearly Perfect
One of the charms of live concert tapes for me is the sense of immediacy they can convey- the wisps of audience conversations, the occasional down time and tuning breaks just make the listening experience more vivid for me. This concert, which deservedly was listed as one of the ten most important of the decade has it all. Great playing, a set list that encompasses both the spirit and the letter of what a Grateful Dead concert was/is about- that is a deep love and appreciation for great music and great songs coupled with an exploratory approach to performance. My ONLY wish is that the vocals were a little bit more audible at times. But given every thing in consideration: How could anyone give this less than 5 stars?

Subject: Top Ten of the Decade
This show along with nine others was just named one of the top ten shows of the decade by Jambase. I can see why, the setlist and the players. Man it is a good show, DOWNLOAD IT RIGHT AWAY, you won't be unhappy! Happy New Year to all and good health to all. Hopefully Phil puts Phil and Friends back out on the road after the Further shows. To all deadheads, please stop the bickering about who should play and do what just enjoy what the band members are doing in whatever incarnation they get together!
